The number one specialty that Urban Dream Designs has to offer is Digital Paint Portraits. A Digital Paint Portrait is a digital painting of a photograph. The process of getting a Digital Paint Portrait from Urban Dream Designs is first having a consultation with the client to decide on what kind of photograph, the size of the digital paint portrait, the tools needed to complete the order, text, color scheme(s), font(s), program(s) to be used, portrait size,cost, and prints. Once this is decided on, the client will sign a contract and agree to pay a portion of the cost now and the other portion after the product is finished. Next, Urban Dream Designs will begin the process of the Digital Paint Portrait. First, we will scan in the photograph onto the computer, and choose a program to use, fonts, color scheme(s), and text. Once it's in the program, we will put a black and white filter over the scan and then create a black outline on a new layer. Then, we will begin the actual digital paint process where we will outline the inside of the black outline with the apporporiate color and then fill it in. About halfway through, Urban Dream Designs will provide a copy of the work so far,so the client can review it and make any necessary changes if needed. When this is done, we will then finish the product and add any finishing touches needed before being sent to get prints. When the prints come in, the client will be contacted to pick up the final product(s) and pay the remaining cost. The typical time of the Digital Paint Process is 3 weeks including prints.
